PLAY GROUP

PLAY GROUP (1.5 years to 2.5 years)

We are a playgroup with a difference - a beautiful, well-resourced playgroup that is run according to Montessori principles.

Our playgroup is one where your child or children will be immersed in an environment which encourages learning, fun and play.

Each day our children direct the activities they wish to be involved in - this may be one on one Montessori jobs with their parents, painting, craft, reading, playdough or playing with the other children in our garden. Smaller children will probably be content to play while older children will love the dedicated time they get to spend with their parent on specific Montessori activities.

After these activities, we have morning tea where the children are encouraged to assist in preparing, setting up and cleaning up. This is then followed by a music session.

Our aim is to make our playgroup an attractive, nurturing environment where you get to spend quality time with your child and other like-minded parents.

PRE KG | JR. KG | SR. KG

PRE-KG (2.5 years to 3.5 years) | JR. KG (3.5Y to 4.5Y) | SR. KG (4.5Y to 5.5Y)

Pre-kindergartens, though, differentiate themselves by equally focusing on harvesting a child's (1) social development, (2) physical development, (3) emotional development, and (4) cognitive development. The early years of a child's life constitute the most significant period in life, because this is the stage when the foundation is laid for the overall development of the individual.

DAY CARE

Daycare (1.5 years and above)

Far from a take-care daycare, our trained & experienced teachers and their support staff provide a loving and caring environment, while you can rest assured that your little one is growing well at Eazy Day Montessori & Daycare.

We implement high standards of hygiene and safety

Our staff are screened and trained to be extremely loving and ultimately patient

Infant Care

Our infant rooms are self-sufficient so there is no need for staff or baby to leave the room. Sterilizers and warmers are provided in the baby rooms. Clean and quiet activity areas are designated within the rooms.

A qualified staff oversees the activities of the governesses. A daily report keeps you informed about your infant's mood, eating and sleeping for the day.

We strictly enforce the one-baby-per-crib policy to avoid infections and disturbance.

Transport Facility

Sorry, children should be dropped off at the center either by their parents or their school bus.

Toddler Care

Toddlers are given ample challenges as the teachers spend more than an hour in the morning with toddler activities with reference to the toddler curriculum. Though no set syllabus is followed during these hours, the daycare routine includes activities, games, quiet/nap time, story telling, reading, snack/lunch time and free playtime. Infants, if awake are also included in the story-telling and rhyme-time activities.

Food & Drink

Snacks/Lunch/Milk are to be sent from home in boxes/sip cups/bottles marked with your child's name. We request you to choose only age-appropriate healthy foods. Our staff will gladly heat the food for your child if needed.

Clothes & Linen

Parents are requested to send atleast six sets of clothes to the center for changes, and a pair of indoor shoes to protect your little one's feet.

Parents of those children, who need a nap in the afternoon may send linen to school. These will be sent home every weekend (or whenever soiled) for washing.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

After-School Care

After-School care is provided for 3 to 10 year old children returning from their schools. After-School care is provided for our Montessori students as well.

Parents must send a light lunch and some snacks for children who will be in the center till 6 pm or later. After a short nap/rest, they are encouraged to work on their school work or read or play quietly with the games and puzzle activities provided.

Please note that children who do not have enough food or snacks are usually cranky and fussy and are also difficult to handle, at the daycare and later at home. It is very important to keep your child well-nourished and happy so they can grow up healthy.

After-School Tuitions

After-school tuition classes are conducted on premises of the Montessori school. The tuition classes are conducted by qualified teachers for 1st to 10th standard students.

After-School Enrichment Programs

(Upto 5 year olds)
Young children are given a variety of learning, playing and fun activities:

  • to build their motor & coordination skills
  • to bring out their hidden talents in arts & crafts
  • speech and communication skills and social skills.

We use puzzles, hands-on material for arts & crafts and CD's to teach them.

Homework Club

(for 6 to 10 year olds)

Children are encouraged to do their homework independantly.

Teaching/ guiding will be provided by the teachers when needed. The child will not be forced to complete or do their home work if they are not in a mood to do so.

We encourage children to make decisions in how to finish their work and how to prioritize, as long as they use their time productively.

Our Goal:

To make after-school time a fun place for children, where they learn basic behavioral, academic and creative skills in a calm and enjoyable manner.

Encourage and develop good behavior.

To teach children the value of time so they learn to utilize their free time productively.

Our Methods:

Learning sessions are conducted regularly to encourage communication and build discussion skills. Encyclopedias, text books, science magazines, National Geographic magazines, news papers etc. are used as tools to facilitate age-appropriate learning and knowledge building.

Homework Club focuses on completing the day's work independently. Assistance will be given as required by teachers, but the child will be encouraged to work on his/her own.
